There’s always something exciting happening in the Rhyl area. Just follow the crowds. You’re likely to end up at a carnival, open-air concert, an air show or even a teddy bear’s picnic.
And this year we’re hosting part of the route for the Queen’s Baton Relay. Touching down in Wales at Cardiff Airport on Saturday 24 May 2014, the baton will travel across the country, engaging with communities and building support for Welsh athletes set to travel to Glasgow just two months later, reaching its final destination of Llandegla on Friday 30 May.
The Relay will visit Rhyl, Moel Famau and Ruthin before making its way to the Oneplanet Adventure site in Llandegla, the last Denbighshire stop.
Rhyl plays host to the best shows, parades, festivals and competitions. For a complete list of what’s happening and when, please contact our Tourist Information Centre for further details
